Oh my word, from the thumbnail, before I saw the little dog, I thought this was actually going to be a scene from the book I'm reading right now, "The Druid of Shannara." There's a massive, camouflaged, stone-like bear monster called a "Kodan," and the heroes are just now encountering it where I'm at... I'm picking up that scene again tonight... anyhow, sorry to ramble like that, but your picture absolutely "wow"ed me right now and almost made me feel like I was in that book....

I love this so much. It manages to be both scary, funny and beautiful. Not necessarily in that order. It reminds me somehow of John Bauer. The light and the colours makes me long for the bright northern Swedish summer nights although I could do without scary, mossy, rock monsters/trolls. Even so, I would happily hang this on my wall.
