I'm trying to find a pair of affordable boots that I can, too, modify for my Alice cosplay and LOVE the way yours turned out! Any advise for a fellow Alice cosplayer?

I got them off a japanese ebay store. I think they were around $40.

That's awesome! Did it take long/was it hard to modify? I'm new at this xD

I got them on ebay.
This photo shows the before boot a little better. The buckles were on the side so I unbuckled them and cut them off the boots, then took the loose metal bit that goes through the hole in the leather strap, off and replaced the buckle itself at the center front of the leather strap. I sewed down (by hand) the straps onto the boot. I then seam ripped the piece of leather that was originally holding the metal buckle. I'm not too good at explaining, sorry n.n; I hope this makes some sense.
