You have exactly have no idea how many people have said that. And I mean MANY ! I scrolled around the fandom there's like more than a dozen row of anything that has Levi on it...

Oh, have heard that Levi's last name has been revealed ?

LOL

But I can't blame them though. I was surprised myself when I found out. Ever since it came out there's been lack of activity in Rivamika ship (Mikasa x Levi ship). I feel sorry for them, that the possibility that they're biologically related is high. Even I don't ship them but the people who ship them...I feel for them. It pretty much turn 180 degree turn on their perspective.

But I do like the funny gifs and jokes about Levi's last name and how they all like freak out.

You probably even heard about Historia that she's royal, too.

How high is it? Via Mikasa's dad? Wonder if he's like a cousin or something.

XD

I read something about it on Wiki. I need to get my hands on the manga.

The fans believe he could be a cousin or uncle...

Man, Hajime Isayama wasn't kidding that every chapter had clues and shocking surprise

You can always just read online.

I've been reading a lot of Shingeki related manga from Attack On Middle School to Sungeki No Kyojin/Spoof On Titan (basically a funny 4koma/4 panel comic). My personal fave is A Choice With No Regrets which is about Levi's past. Besides for fun, I read them trying to figure out the mystery. Even though it's announced it's going to end in volume 20 (right now is 13) I would like to solve the riddle and say "I told you so" or "Imma genius" before it all ends. I mean I did it with every episode of Sherlock(Well, except the part where he falls of the building and everyone thought and it turns out he's not..)

Makes sense. I'd lean towards cousin though...but then again I forget he's like 30 something not 20 something. He's so tiny....

Nope. But all good mysteries try to have the clues. There was this mystery writer named Ellery Queen (who was actually two cousins from Brooklyn XD) who challenged the reader to solve the mystery before the detective.

Oh? Im also wondering if there are English print versions out yet.

Are those online as well? And they're official, right (albeit for fun)?

Sherlock's fun XD I knew he'd survive though (since I read the original stories); the trick is HOW he survived

Tiny but terrifying. I like it that way. Plus the fact the age thing make me love him even more.

Sounds awesome. Maybe you could link it for me.

Yeah, they have English prints...usually the translated one are from Kodansha company. Yes but they also have printed ones. I'm not so sure if they have Spoof On Titan have printed ones. Yes, they're official except for Attack On Titan Middle School that's a spin-off from Hajime Isayama. You can just read online (free and scanned manga) instead of printed ones because they're updated very quickly and you can read the most recent chapter. You can go to read online such mangahere.com, mangareader, tenmanga, mangastream, mangafox and etc..(there's actually a lot). If you do go and type and search "shingeki no kyojin" in one of these website, make sure to check the genre...if it has the word 'doujinshi' then you gone off too far. (Just giving a heads up because the majority of doujinshi has a lot yaoi/gay, unless you're into it or are one. 'cause one of my friend (straight dude) accidentally click the wrong one so....)If it doesn't have that word then, it's an official...they have a lot of prequels, spin-off and 4-koma

Yeah, I haven't finish reading ALL the original books.

I have thing for bad boys (who have hearts made of gold), short and old guys. Especially if they have a great voice...Somehow those characters appeal to me. They're just that interesting.

Thanks !

I just don't want people think I'm into......that. I'm not a fujoshi. I don't want to take it the wrong way.

You can just read the continuation of the last episode of the anime instead reading from scratch.

Sorry for the late reply...I fell asleep because it was about 3 or 4 am the last time I reply...

In Japan, female fans are called fujoshi, a pun which denotes their way of seeing homosexual relationships in media as being "rotten". The word 'Fujoshi' means rotten girl. Fu means either married woman/lady or rotten/fermented, in this case it means rotten. Fujoshi also gives the nickname 'fallen woman'. Yaoi/Gay but normally the fandom or if you're in Japan people normally call it  Boy's Love or BL for short  instead of yaoi because it sounds more subtle, it's kinda like calling adult film instead of porno film. People usually only call a manga or anime yaoi to categorize or rate it's whether it's hardcore stuff or more romantic type. There's actually a lot of names to describe fans to are into this stuff older fujoshi are called "kijujin" (noble rotten woman) or "ochofujin" while guys are called fudanshi (rotten boy) or fukei (rotten older brother). Yunoshi are into seme than uke however still support uke. Uke are flower boys or little boys or boys who have cute and female characteristic while seme is the opposite. Kainoshi are into uke than seme. Pandajoshi supports any type of couple, girls, boys, both and they don't like being called fujoshi or anything than that because they it sounds offensive, basically "everyone (or sometimes anything) should be loved"

You must think I'm weird for knowing these stuff but I'm like studying pop culture especially what, why and how the audience perceive them. To understand such cults and fandoms exists since I really don't understand some people like stuff that I don't tend to like...for example the Beiber Fever...That I'll never understand. I only have theories, assumptions and opinions...

No worries, Im aware of the time difference XD I got up at 5-515am my time this morning...partially because my internal clock seems off and the fire alarm was out of battery so the random beeps probably ruined any chances of me falling back asleep.

Ah, I see. IMHO, love is love; as long as its consensual and between two adults, who am I to judge?

I don't think you're weird at all XD It's a bit like anthropology, isn't it? I don't get the Beiber fandom either; he annoys the HELL out of me, and his fans TERRIFY me.

AimiisLoveBeautiful In reply to Dkalban [2014-04-27 12:51:59 +0000 UTC]

XD. There's one time I woke up at around 4 am and look around the room, it turns out my sister was talking on the phone in the dark. I tried to go back to sleep but it was an epic fail

Speaking of consensual and between two adults, doujin are very popular anything opposite of those two things. There's even lot of categories from stockings, vanilla, cream pie, flat, gang bang and etc... Perhaps they fulfill the audience's fantasies.

Psychology interests me as well, heck, out of all the channels I like to watch are documentaries...which is probably one of the reasons it's hard for me to make an interesting conversation...Ugh, there's nothing that I equally hate about Beiber except his fans. Perhaps the fans are into uke/pretty boys/flower boys....the first time I heard 'Baby' on the radio, I thought he was a girl...

XD I was up at 430am twice last week, so Im at least improving XD

Well, doujin is like fan fic, right?

Psychology is very interesting. There is actually a very good book on Batman and Psychology XD Bieber fans are insane though. They send death threats to those who criticize him, or beat him for an award etc...and they're like 12 years old!

By a few minutes...XD

Doujin (short for doujinshi) is like fan fic for comics...I think I have explain (very specifically) this to you before...

What ?! About a book about both Batman and Psychology ?! Beiber fans have no common sense...They think it's justice to beat up them for just criticizing...

XD Woke up at 5:50 yesterday, so small step back

Yeah, just double checking. So basically my stories would be Batman Doujin? The thing about fan fic is that the "audience" often tends to be the writer, and sometimes they have fetishes that are frowned upon...or they just want to gross out people. Me, I want to write professionally so I try to stay away from that.

Yep! and its a fun one. Well, as fan is short for fanatic, one could argue we do tend to lack common sense when it comes to our various fandoms

AimiisLoveBeautiful In reply to Dkalban [2014-04-27 14:15:14 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, in Japan sometimes fan fic (that have no pictures, drawings or comics) are also called doujin. Mostly doujin is for unsatisfied fans who are upset about the story of their fave anime/drama/manga/novel/movie or to fulfill the fandom's fantasies, most of the time it's is usually the latter. Since doujins that has sequential art and have sexual and romantic themes are easy to sell (especially in any Comic Cons) than a book that has writing. I believe that Doujins in Japan are different than in America. It's true that they're sometimes gross and has fetishes but not all of them are like that. In addition, fan fic writers sometimes get great opportunities to become actual writers and have their own show or anime. Beside scouting and audition, sometimes companies search fan fic writers who are popular or have the highest ratings in the internet. They would probably make less 24 episodes, the maximum ep is 13..It depends how they negotiate and discuss between the writer, producer and other head staffs...like budget, seiyuus (voice actors) and stuff. Though the possibility is thin but fan fics isn't a taboo or something to jerk off, their just another way of entertainment and sometimes they're probably worth selling.

It's like we become a different person or we enter a a different realm once we encounter our fave idol. I turn into a nut when I see Kamiya Hiroshi or even hear his voice.

True, there probably is a cultural difference. We sure as hell can't make money off our fan fic here; not to mention DC/Marvel doesn't like to look far outside established writers, a strategy that might be detrimental over time. I'd LOVE it if someone did a radio drama or something out of one of my stories; but again, it would have to be on Youtube or something and can't make money. Maybe DC/Marvel should borrow some recruiting strategies from the Japanese companies, with corporate permission.

Exactly, for example I could barely hide my excitement when I met Scott Snyder.

Right ? Heck, I think music companies also rely on YouTube as well to scout singers ! But I'm not sure if the fan fic websites a big thing in America. I mean, they can scout for manga artists through popular websites such as Pixiv (I'm also a member in this as well). It's much SO MORE advance artist than in DeviantArt. It has to have a website that's popular, have a large audience and members...kinda like YouTube.

Oh ! And....And even when you get super pumped but at the same time you turn into this dumb phase where you start talking giberish or act like an idiot or turn into a statue.

In the States, writing fan fic isn't exactly gonna put you at the popular kid's table. Due to the amount of very skeevy stuff, in the US fan fic is kinda looked at weirdly. I do have a couple things on fanfiction.net, but its stuff I posted here first.

Wish there was a site or a way for aspiring comic writers to get more attention

XD Due to people hogging up time ahead of us, I luckily avoided that phase because all I had time for, as mandated, was a handshake and autograph

I can't blame them for feeling weird and awkward because of those 'stuff'.

How exactly do comic writers to gain attention ?  I know that Gail Simones made the women in the fridge thing....

Ah, have you ever shown you're work in Comic Con ? It's more likely to show stories about existing characters or your own original work instead of putting a new character in an existing story unless it's REAL good. Most people idolize actors, athletes...I into voice actors.

Well, in various ways. Indie book, webcomics, columns, connections.....

Nope. Going to my first con this June, but Im not selling/displaying anything. I do have some indie ideas, but they need further development, etc. I'd LOVE to show things I've done to others, but that's pretty hard. Though I do think my stories are very good.
