This illustration isn't like the action scenes that I usually work. It's part of a project promoted by my town's city council in order to protect the zone of Las Canteras beach; which is a very important area because of the biodiversity that it contains.
The illustration is used in informative documents, posters and also on a 6 x 2 metres mural located right there, on the beach.

La siguiente ilustración no es como las escenas de acción que trabajo habitualmente. Forma parte de un proyecto promovido por el Ayuntamiento de mi ciudad para proteger el área de la playa de Las Canteras; que es una zona de gran importancia debido a la biodiversidad que la compone. La ilustración es utilizada en cartelería informativa, posters y asimismo en un mural de 6 x 2 metros hubicado en la misma playa.

This digital art is so fabulous because the fish is so detail and it looks like real and colorful but i think you should add more coral reef so people know that this place is under the sea not in the lake. Anyway awesome art!

Hey, thanks a lot for your nice comments, I really appreciate that you like this artwork. About adding more coral reef, I see your point and probably if this would be a personal work of a fantasy landscape I would add more species and coral, but in this case, this is a professional project conceived to educating about the protection of the environment, I had to depict the real place as accurate as possible. I even did some snorkel in order to being accurate for this project!

Oh... and thats why when I search the species of those fish, most of them live Meditteranian sea

I guess part of them belong to the Atlantic Ocean and can live in the Mediterranean Sea to, but I can tell that most of the species depicted on this artwork only live here, on Canary Islands.

This is just gorgeous - the detailing of the fish and the life here is striking; I mean wow!

I do and I agree - to save it, humanity must be wiped out.
Fact: during and after WW2, marine life numbers exploded.
That I think is what we need - may seem harsh, but consider - mankind, or this?
