i've taken a long long time on this. It turned out slightly less than what i have expected. Yet again... How much can i expect from myself

this is really quite good -- i can see you've got a lot of potential. i especially love the background and the turtle. I also like how soft the lines are and the ripples around the fishing line are done (wow... i can learn alot from this pic... *_*). here's another fave to add to your pile. ^^

Excellent picture, love the dreamy shadowing off the edges. I love the boys headphones with the quaver on them, the kitty girl's ears, the other girl's horns, the... oh goddamit I'll just favourite it.
My only criticism, however, would be the ripple made by the fishing line. It looks too harsh compared to the rest of the picture, and it looks as though you've used a wavepool effect on it. Also it's a 'flat' ripple, whereas the ripples made from the tortoise go back diagonally into the picture - do you see what I mean? Sounds confusing ugh >.< but anyway that is a minor detail in a great picture
