Chris needs to be beaten very badly for this. Thank goodness he did not host "The Ridonculous Race" that year.

This episode is so bad that i consider it worst than Sundae Muddy Sundae and this is why Pahkitew Island is my least favorite Total Drama season of all time.

I agree with you completely, I find this to be the worst episode in all of Total Drama.

After this trainwreck of a finale, Dave is entitled to a prize far better than the hypothetical "1 million dollars": Ella, the only girl who had sincere feelings for him, instead of this case he wasted his time with.
The entire endgame of a million dollars reminds me of a phrase that's gamined popularity in recent years: "THE CAKE IS A LIE"!
Mike/Zoey didn't even get the mil in the previous seasons. It's all just a ratings trap. Hell, the winner isn't even canon (for the purpose of 2-sided populairity depending on specific regions). Chris is the douchiest host in history, and Don is slowly becoming like him (and yet I had hope). Total Drama is the devil. Nothing of value in a human society is sacred on that show.

Yeah other than TDWT and TDRI, I don't like any finales, TDA and TDI are kinda boring not awful or anything. TDAS one and this are terrible.

You know what a good finale would be?
Dave returning after having trained an enter Army of Rats to do whatever he says.
He leads these rats into re-inacting this scene, except on Chris: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIdXu0…
Would be the perfect way to close out the series.

Heck yes! In fact, I had a version of the finale, where the finalists and their helpers push Chris out of the helicopter, and end off the season themselves......your idea is pretty cool!

Seriously, POOR DAVE, MAN! He goes through all this shit, and just completely snaps in two. Then, they give you the tiniest 'maybe they'll work this out' and then crash that to the ground and grind it into dust. Can we just get #PoorDave going around?

Hell, everyone was hoping for something like Mike and Zoey or any of the massive pairings going on in the first two seasons (take your pick: Lindsay and Tyler, Gwen and Trent, Owen and Izzy, Courtney and Duncan, etc.), but instead we got Shawn and Jasmine (who kinda work...y'know if you don't think about it...at all) but the finale even screwed THAT up!

amanso01 [2014-11-05 03:23:47 +0000 UTC]
The only good thing out of the last two seasons is a new cast, meaning more possibilities in the long run.... BUT thanks to the writers a lot of characthers and pairings are RUIN!!!! (Gwent, Ozzy, Duncney and Gwuncan in that order) and now this.... is just ... wow.... TD needs to get their shit together or slowly the FANFICTIONS will be better tan cannon, and believe me a lot of All-Stars fanfictions are better

Just a boring finale, very anticlimactic, and sad. Have you seen that animated atrocity yet that I made?

I agree they ruined Dave's and Sky's character because through out the WHOLE SEASON Sky had plenty of time and chances to tell Dave that she had a boyfriend she wanted to break up with and that she wants to wait after the final to win the money then have a relationship with him, also they should have just man/woman up and told each other that they like like each other. I know some people say they like it cause it's like a real young couple, but admit it, we all what to see a happy ending in CARTOONS, this is not real life people.

This wasn't even a bad finale and using Thomas as reference is definitely not a good idea since he's judge a season or anything based off of one little thing.... that's how irrational and immature he is. This finale was dramatic and so what if Skave was broken up? They were never together in the first place..... and seriously, people tend to bitch way too much about cartoon characters getting "hurt". They're fine. Dave's fine. They'll return and dwell on this mess of a "couple" next season.
All these Animated "Atrocities" for majority of the TD episodes on DA IMO are for incredibly petty and ridiculous reasons. Especially since it's usually "oh the cruelty was too much"..... umm no, it's Total DRAMA. That's the point.

I'm more upset on how they portrayed Dave here. Sure he was heartbroken, but that is no excuse to want to kill someone. And it made Sky look terrible as a character and a person to reveal that she has a boyfriend.
Some Drama can go overboard. That's why I hate Total Drama All Stars. Lately, it's been anti-climatic and disappointing.
And I also don't want to hear anything against other dA members on my page, especially my friends, ok?

Braofo In reply to air30002 [2014-10-29 17:41:06 +0000 UTC]
Dave was always like that.....what are you even talking about? He was becoming overly clingy as the season progressed so Sky looks bad as a character for trying to explain it but Dave kept interrupting her because of his moronic obsession for her? Please.
That's the point. It's suppose to be dramatic. Like some of the drama that you guys claim is "overboard" is for some of the weirdest and silliest reasons like....."oh they were being to mean to Ella and Samey" "oh Gwen got to much heat" and "Dawn's elimination was mean because she got tossed in a garbage bag" and all that other stuff. That's just petty. Only thing I'll agree with is All-Stars because its wasn't overly dramatic or dramatic period. It was just stupid.
And that's criticism for you. Someone had to call out those members and majority of the people who make these things out for the most ridiculous reasons. Sorry, but I like to discuss and review mature and rational reviews, not stuff like Animated Atrocities and other stuff around the site. No wonder people look at the fandom in this community as angry children. Sad, but it seems to be true.

Dave wasn't always that violent or stupid. Heartbreak sucks, but no one should ever act that insane. That's just crazy. Yet another derailment in the books.
Sure, it's called Total Drama. There should be drama, that's how reality shows work. But they go overboard all the time. They torment the exact same characters, and always seem to make them look worse. After Season 1, Gwen hasn't been the same. They always make everything look like its her fault. And they can't even give her a fair elimination, either. And Courtney, do I even have to explain myself? By "Sundae Muddy Sundae", it looked like the writers were trying to derail her. Many fans would rather have development and good stories than harm and derailment.
Like I said before, keep other members out of this. They can act however they want. We are critics, our job is to find flaws and problems. I will not have other members bash on other people here. Some of them make great points, and can be very kind. I try my best to be calm and friendly, but when people call out others in public, it's not going to stay that way.

Braofo is actually right. Most of you only hate this episode (and some others) because of one petty reason. This show is called Total Drama, it NEEDS to have DRAMA in it. And you can't hate an episode because of one thing or moment.
"We are critics, our job is to find flaws and problems" WTF? How old are you?

Not this post again :/
I understand some of the drama. Maybe they could've came up with a more understandable reason for Sky denying a relationship with Dave, and Dave could've reacted not nearly as bad. But as usual, they just go to far with the cruelty IMO.
Thats what critics do. I talk about many good things, but I didn't like this. And it's my opinion. If you don't agree, post something on your page.

That isn't derailment.... it's called heartbreak and it tends to make people become vengeful can crazy. Seriously people need to stop throwing the "derailment" card for something that isn't really derailment at all.
Because.. maybe....it....was....part of her fault???? Gwen's too judgmental which is why her relationships with Trent and Duncan fell under water(some bad writing involved but nonetheless) She's suppose to be a teenage girl who makes mistakes and has flaws(that continued to grow). You guys blame the writers for everything....the one thing I'll agree with about Courtney is Sunday Muddy Sundae(even though it's OOC of her to betray others to get the money) It just came out of nowhere so Courtney could go home which is why it was horrible.
And most of you guys(not saying you specifically) aren't being critics, you're being nitpickers, complaining and whining over some of the most petty reasons for a Total Drama episode. Some justified and some not so much. It's not bashing if it's flat out insulting but if that's how you see it, then you need to stop being so over sensitive because I'm simply saying it how it is. Simple.

Sky derailed more in my book than Courtney did. At least Courtney had a decent season in TDI. (Aside from the Playa De Losers episode and the bonus episode.) I actually felt bad that she got booted the way she did.

I don't know. Courtney really only became nice in You Regatta be Kidding Me. She was getting pissy about the Hero team being all nice, she unfairly took credit for Zoey's idea in Episode One, she started conspiring to get Gwen and Zoey out early, she complained about orange juice and did not pay attention to the fact the team was smuggling food for Sam, she uses a weakened Sam as a shield to keep her from getting hit by leeches, She held onto the past from WT despite that both her and Gwen had dumped Duncan by that point. For me it was like looking at a huge split in a set of train tracks, and wondering why everyone else around me was surprised the train derailed. It was like when Zoey snapped in ROTI. It was nice, but we knew it was unlikely that she would be that way for an extended time.
