Description
-Original description-An experiment with colors and depth. This actually is a crop out of a new, Terragen/ Photomanip work; so the size is kinda small, sorry about that
Crits would be highly appreciated since i'm still experimenting very much, trying to find my own style and develop my own techniques. Thanks!
Oh well, looks like i'm having a bit too much of free time these days... about 3 days with a lot of new starts and scrapping | Photoshop CS.
A new version of [link] i think this is finished for now and will be part of my new work i'm currently working on. I'll move the old one to scraps.

Love the colors of the atmosphere. Maybe you can change the position of the moons/smaller planets a bit. They look less natural.

man everything is great. colors are amazing, nice planet texture and cool moons.
But there are small "mistakes", maybe just I see them or maybe u want like that.
You have lines on nebulas.... I also sometimes have them because of the texture....
anyway, the picture is great.... keep it up !!

Thank you for the input, much appreciated! I've used no textures for the nebula here, just soft round brush and a few custom brushes. Maybe the lines are from the flares whre i did not blend them very well. I gues i haven't seen them because my monitor is very dark; i've had that a few times already. I'm going to fix that later.

Thank you for the input! I'm working mostly with much contrast and colors, thats one of my mistakes; i overdose them too much. But this one was just an experiment, i'll remove some colors for the final piece.

die drei kleinen planeten find ich nicht so toll (mann sieht die oberflΓ€che des grossen planeten also mΓΌssten die drei sehr klein sein)

Die kleinen Planeten sind Monde und sollten so klein sein; auch wenn Monde normalerweise ca. 1/8 so gross sind wie ihre Planeten.

this is a really good piece.
the planet texture looks reallly good.i don't know about the colours tough....
makes it look more like a disco than an actual planet

Really nice I like the colors. this version is better then the other one
But I think I like the planet in the other version more because of the clearer textures.
Also some places seem a bit empty(left of the red flare for example ) but maybe you intended to do it that way...
anyway.... it's a great piece

One final gripe... the pinky/purple lens flare layer... you can see the edge of it, its not rounded. Darn it thats the only thing!

Simply gorgeous. I love the colours and the contrast between them and the darker background. And the composition is very nice too, with the stars and so on placed around the planet. I always envy people who can do digital artwork related to space etc.
