I worked hard on this one. Wanted to have a sort-of asteroid belt. Did lots of refinement. The asteroids were done in 3dsm. Anyways, I hope you like it, enjoy. This is for the new SA pack coming soon.Related content

Very well done... so often artists make long images and it's all too spread out with vast spaces of nothingness in between. You solved this really well but keepingeverything happening all the way thru. Excellent job my friend. Fav 2 u!

i cant believe u made a even better asteroid belt!
the only thing i can see here really bad is the second planet fro mthe bottom to the top. its atmosphere is too huge, the texture seems to be in really low resolution and its rings should appear a bit on the back too.

although, imo, the two focal points in the comp seem a bit much for my eyes - with all the planets, it feels somewhat busy.

...wow - once again you've surpassed yourself. I believe this is the most beautiful piece of work you've done in terms of colour work and, well, style! I'm loving the little hints of purple in between the green and the blue, and the overall transition between the colours is perfectly done. Usual staple-dilekt rocks and shtuff - can't do without those, and they blen better here than in the other's you've done. Apart from Alyn's Icarus planet I think that top right one of yours is the best I've seen... like, ever, and it's not the detail - it just has this wonderful colour and contrast - - - - staying with planets though - I do think the bottom left one is a bit flat - dunno why

well balanced, looks very realistic !
good work on the planets (the textures are very well done) - only the outer glow (atmosphere) of your planets doesnΒ΄t fit, try to blur it a little bit, donΒ΄t just "draw" a sharp white border around them - a small adjustment which i think would make this piece perfect

Where to start...
First off I'm very glad you implemented the correct lighting color on the asteroids
The planets are your usual goodness as always, keep that up
My favorite part though, is the content in which those stars are contained, some great texturing and depth
You know what, the nebula flowing from star to star with the asteroids seems to be pretty unique in my book, so you get the infamous

Starfield:
Has very good variation! & the detailing you have spent on it is very apparent,
excellent job on the starfield man,
it also feels crisp & clean!
Planets:
Very nice planetary work,
they have very nice texture, & the contrast accentuates that even more,
They have very good minimalistic atmospheres that go well with there colourations,
i have to appluad you for the great planetary work!
Asteroids & small details:
The asteroids as usual have awesome texture & depth,
the impacts are also fairly good,
as are the very small detailed asteroids & such,
definitely a very nifty sense of detail in this image!
Nebulae:
Ah, something very nice to see from you,
The sun's & colouration,
& the nifty depth of texture is amazing,
i think this is one of your next nebulae,
however there is a part where its slightly gradientised end, but ends to abruptly,
if you want it to end abrupty do it like the rest of your nebulae, a crisp finish of detail,
either that or a consistent gradientise,
but overall a very nice nebulae
Colouration:
A nice mix of Monochrome & colourful to give a very space-like scene filled with variation,
also the nebulae colouration is nice & vibrant!
Bordering:
Bordering is simplistic & clean, & it gives the image a nice finish,
good job on bordering!
Composition:
The composition seems unique enough, & the placement of objects is well thought,
i have to say, a nice composition for a nice image.
Overall:
All up, a very different image with a special gift for the eyes, a wonderful piece packed with action yet also with serenity!
