EXPLANATION:
I wanted to make a picture that plays on the victim trope of “Don’t, I’ll scream” combined with Bruce Banner’s signature threat “Don’t make me angry, you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry” because I am in love with the idea of Lydia turning her banshee scream into an offensive attack, rather than a defensive last straw. I want this show to reevaluate the power of a scream.

"Don’t, I’ll scream" is seen as this admittance that a woman doesn’t have power of their own, and needs someone else to hear them scream and come save them. I want Lydia’s scream to be a weapon on it’s own. Not a call to be saved; a way to save herself.

Especially when dealing with a pack of freaking werewolves who have so few actual weaknesses and so many so-called strengths. I want the show to explore how those strengths can BE weaknesses, and one way to do that would be to have Lydia be able to essentially alpha-scream at any werewolf, despite her status as not a werewolf and not an alpha. She could be the back-up plan when aggressive werewolves show up and won't listen to reason. She could be the big guns of the show because she's NOT a werewolf.
