I love the look in the model's eyes and how the textures are all different. The smooth ringlet curls, the knobbly texture of the sweater and then the clean smoothness of the pillar. It's really well done. The make is beautifully done, it doesn't detract from the photo, but rather adds to it in a subtle way.
It's just a really excellent portrait.
