First Sophie's and Olivier's picture in 2019!
I hope you remember these two.
I was planning to draw some cute little drawings of Sophie, Olivier and Annette together, mainly to show you how their mutual relationships look like. 
(I really like drawing scenes in which my characters interact with each other!) Here's one of them.Sophie, being fond of nature, went outside with her little brother, Olivier (I made him a bit older than he was in the first drawing of him, he's around 5 years old here). They were strolling around the countryside and having lots of fun playing on the top of the hill near the mountains. As you can see, Sophie gets along with Olivier despite the significant age gap. And that's mainly because of her attitude for children. She enjoys taking care of her little brother very much and could stand his behavior, even if Olivier could drive someone else round the bend. She burst into laughter when he blew a dandelion almost straight on her face. Well, Olivier is still a small kid, after all.

Oh my god, this is one of your cutest drawings ever No seriously, adorableness is oozing from this thing. It's so sweet to see a nice little brother-sister moment between these. Plus Sophie being really good/fond of kids, especially her kid brother, makes me like her even more
I like to think my girl Linda and her brother Ernie had a relationship a bit like this at times growing up...which only makes it sadder when you know that Ernie wound up growing up to be a greedy two-faced moneygrubber and their relationship is now badly strained. Unfortunately that can happen with the passage of times, family bonds that were once close can be shattered or frayed 
But yes, adorable drawing. I want to see more

You're right about that. Even though I like drawing cute stuff, I'd like to give my characters both positive and negative traits, just to make them more realistic. Nobody's perfect, people fall out with each other every now and then and there are also people who we don't really like or can't stand their behavior in some situations. Yeah, this is just our imperfect life... Not every aspect of it is cute and we can't avoid many conflicts.
I've come up with a strife-prone Annette, just to add a small bit of conflict and kinda make Sophie's life a bit difficult. I know I'm cruel right now, but I think it would be uninteresting and annoying to see that her life is a bed of roses and she can easily get what she wants. I read somewhere that if you want to make good characters you have to put the skids under them from time to time. Besides, siblings don't always get along pretty well with each other.
I don't know what exactly I'm gonna show in the drawing, but my goal is to stress that not everything in Sophie's life is nice and sweet.
Oh, and also I want to tell you that Sophie's crush has been already sketched!

I don't think you'll be cruel at all. It's part of the whole story-telling aspect of character design and character development. In order to make a character more in-depth and relatable, there has to be a conflict of some sort. Nowhere is nothing but sunshine and rainbows, because then the audience would have no way of connecting with it.

Speaking of which, it actually reminds me of how I imagine Aaron and Lily get along. I imagine Aaron as a protective older brother to Lily, even though she's a spunky young gal. But she's always got her big brother to help her back up when she gets down.
