I really get nostalgic thinking about the animated movie with Smaug, I remember feeling in awe and terror during that animated scene. I have yet to see the Hobbit and the Hobbit 2, but I was told that the scenes were similar to that effect, only 100 times better ^u^ This picture alone has captured a part of my childhood that captivated and terrified me. I am absolutely in love with your painting, thank you for that trip down memory lane. I'm certain that I will be blown away when I watch the movies (and when I get to the scene with Bilbo and Smaug) I would like to think of this as a preview to the 'epicness' (if that's even a word) that I will soon see on the screen.
