Wooh, I have been inactive. My contribution to a calendar some old friends of mine are putting together. Here be February, loves. I'll put a link here once it goes on sale. ;3Quite a lot has changed in my life! I won't say much here, instead I'll make a proper journal entry. <3

i like the man in the back and his bright red scarf, and the horizon and how it curves for perspective. the woman in the front looks a tad chubby to me o_o but you did good on her jeans, and her foot. good job!

The coloring on this piece is so superb. The texture, the lighting, the detail, the palette -- I can't decide what element or object I like the most because I like so many things! Her jeans and top and face and his jackets and the composition and the highlights and that foot! Can you make a calendar that's just got this pic over and over and over for all twelve months? ;D

I figure to get my point across I should just list out what make this a outstanding piece:
1. Although itβs not a rainbow, the colours are very nice and suits the theme of this piece
very well.
2. The textures are fabulous and give a certain βrealisticβ tone. Like the softness of the
clouds, hatching and rips on the girls jeans and the shine from her goggles.
3. The perspective is quite remarkable because it can be very hard to draw planes at such
an angle and how you have the βcurved bowlβ design.
4. The inking is very accurately done and I like how you just inked the foreground and not the background.
5. Amazing lighting. Utterly amazing. The shadowing is very well done and nothing is
out of place.
6. Details like the back of the manβs jacket, the fluff from the girls collar and cuffs, the
hair and shine on their skin, you didnβt flake out on the details and for that I am proud
that Iβm watching you. On deviantart I mean [shifty eyes].
