The ActuallyAutistic people have got to be one of the most toxic and destructive people online. They will slander a lot of other autistic people over different opinions (like ABA, the puzzle piece, Autism Speaks, etc.). They also often accuse others of eugenics and cannot take any form of criticism whatsoever. It's also funny how most of these people claim to be advocates, yet they don't do any awareness and funding and are actually proud of it.

The toxicity has gotten out of control so bad that a lot of autism advocates such as Thomas A. McKean had to do callout posts on them through Facebook.

I really wish the people would learn to spread a lot of respect and kindness every Autism Awareness Month instead of cruelty and violence. That is not what Autism Awareness Month should be about.

Autism advocacy has always been about including all. Autism Advocacy isn't a place for winning or losing. It's about KINDNESS and CARING. If the core of your movement is hate and destructive behaviors then you aren't advocating. You are INTERFERING."
