Oh yes, I should be doing my research paper (and believe me, I am as I upload this) but I had to take a little break to post this.I seriously can't NOT have fun with colorful candies. So I did this quick thing for V-day.
Candy art is:
Easy, quick, fun...
And always a sweet finish (*shot for cheesyness*)
Okay and uh, the explanation?
What love is:
True - It should be honest and real
Pure - It is the purest instinct (And when I say love, I don't mean lust peeps)
Crazy - It's fun and insane at times
Songs that remind me of each description,
True: "Love Song" by Sarah Bareilles (Yes, I know she's actually kind of going AGAINST love but the point is she's being honest)
Pure: "El Farol" by Santana
Crazy: "Dance Dance" by Fall Out Boy

But Have you ever wondered what is the true meaning of Vday? Why is there such a day? For those that lust need to have a dedicated day to show love? For those that truly Love will show it 365 days a year, and dont need a specific day to remind them there is such thing. hmmm..

I would agree, but I can't help wanting to celebrate the true meaning of the day artistically - it doesn't mean I don't believe in the spirit all year, the day is just almost like a reminder to me. Maybe that's bad? O_o

hmm yes its nice to give the one you love a special day to where you prove your love. I believe that day should be from you yourself not becuase evryone else is doing it that day. It doesnt mean as much then because it doesnt show it came from your heart, because there is reminders alround because of the dedicated day..
