[Notes: While creating a new variant, I either already have the idea since ages, or it comes as a result of research or outside help (usually from Lediblock2). At rare times, however, ideas occur instantaneously. A couple days ago, I was totally confused about this one, then I watched the entire Ben 10: Omniverse series and this popped in my mind. So, here's my homage to what I believe is a really underrated animated series.]

"Clefairy came from the moon!"

If you haven't heard this lore, you know nothing about Pokémon. Clefairy for long have been known to have come from outer space. The scientists who supported this fact were overwhelmed when an exotic subspecies of Clefairy was discovered in the highest peaks of Alnean mountains, because not only it confirmed that Clefairy are extraterrestrial, but the genetic research established this fact for many other Pokémon species as well.

The Celestial Clefairy share many traits with their common counterparts. They are nocturnal, prefer to live in mountains, worship moon, etc. One major difference between the two subspecies of Clefairy is that the Celestial ones are born with the Moonstone as a part of their bodies, and hence, are able to evolve voluntarily. It is believed that this subspecies was the original and the Common Pink Clefairy branched out later as a result of environmental adaptation.

This subspecies of Clefairy is energivorous, that is, they feed directly on the cosmic energy of the surroundings. This sort of nutrition grants this subspecies entirely new abilities like levitation and probability manipulation. The Metronome move used by Celestial Clefairy is said to be powerful enough to bend the space-time continuum.
