“Are you ready for this cadet?” Levi asks as you both ride your horses to the front of the gate, Eren behind the two of you. “Try not to die out there, and keep an eye on Eren. If you die, it could mess up the entire plan.” He states plainly. “Right.” You say with a nod. You have no family, nor do you have any friends except for maybe Jean and Marco. Well, I guess only Jean now. Levi took you under his wing after your parents were killed by titans about five years ago when the Colossal Titan and Armored Titan invaded the wall for the first time. You were in your early twenties at the time, about to be eaten by titans yourself from trying to save your parents. Levi came luckily and saved you in the nick of time. After that, you joined the scouting legions. You are at the age of 27 now.

The gates open as you two talk and Erwin signals everyone out. “Hyah!” you yell as you set your horse out, running amongst the others. Everyone splits into their teams, you with Team Erwin as your job to protect Eren as well as kill him if necessary. You all see a 13-meter class abnormal titan that seems to be heading towards HQ. “I got it!” you yell as you slice it’s feet. You get ready to shoot out towards its neck with your 3D-Maneauver Gear, but Levi gets to it first. After he hops back onto his horse, you swear you see him give you a small smirk.

You see red smoke trails fly up into the sky and Erwin sends a green one towards a separate direction. You continue moving forward. You hear some faint screaming and titan feet off in the distance. You close your eyes and take deep breaths as you ride. “Are you okay?” Levi asks, bringing his horse closer to yours. “Y-Yeah.” You reply shakily.

A man starts freaking out as he hears the distance cries. “Wh-Why did I come? Why did I do this?! You have to let me go! I have to get back to my wife and daughter! I need to live!” the man yells at Erwin with desperation. Erwin looks over at Levi and nods. Levi rides over to the man; pulling out one of his twin swords he kills the man then and there. “Shut up, your annoying me, brat. Know your place.” Levi says as he removes his sword, allowing the man to fall to the ground. Levi puts his sword back and notices that you have one hand over your mouth, looking like you might cry. Levi sighs and rides back over to you. “Hop on.” He says. “W-What?” you asks confused. “Did I stutter? I said hop on.” He commanded as he stopped your horse along with his. You nod and say “Yes sir.” With a light blush as you hop off of your horse and mount yourself up onto the back of Levi’s; Eren slightly smirking.

You wrap your arms around Levi’s waist and everyone begins moving again. You feel how tense Levi is and you lean in closer to him, resting your chest and head on his back. He seems to relax at the motion. You watch the passing scenery, thinking of how it’s actually kind of nice not having to be caged in within the sheltered walls that so many dare call safe.

Everyone soon sees another titan approaching as they ride. This time, a 15 meter class. Are you scared? Of course, but you use your fear and hatred to power your skills when you fight. Erwin takes care of the titan quickly.

“We should be there soon. You doing alright there ___?” Levi asks in that monotone voice of his. You nod against his back; wishing he would show some sort of emotion, at least towards you.

“Alright troops, head out to the North West.” Erwin commands as you all steer your horses towards the direction, following the commander without a second thought.

You squeak slightly as you see a group of titans. There’s a 15-meter class, a 12-meter class, a 7-meter class, 5-meter class. You jump off the horse with your 3D-Maneauver Gear and head towards the 12-meter class and Levi heads towards the 7-meter class. While Mike goes after the 15-meter class, and Auruo attacks the 5-meter class.

You flip around with your maneuver gear on the trees and go around, behind the titan, slicing deep into it’s neck relentlessly.

You jump down to the ground with a wide smirk as you finish. Eren looks at you as if your some kind of sadist. “Nice work cadet. Almost as good as me.” Levi compliments as he heads back on his horse. You smile happily and hop on after him, happy to be praised from not only a superior, but Levi. The guy you have loved since the day he saved you.

You smile; feeling the adrenaline pumping after you killed the titan. Feeling your game power back in, you’re ready to fight, with Levi.

You see a 2 meter class coming up and you pull out your duel swords, ripping through it’s neck with ease. You smile deviously as you re-sheath your swords.

“You’re doing well for only your third time out, _____.” Levi says while nodding in acknowledgement towards you. You nod back, taking his acknowledgement to heart.

“Cornel, permission to speak sir.” You ask from behind Levi. “Permission granted.” He says as you smile, burning passion swelling up in your eyes. “If I die, you should know something.” You inform.

“And what might that be?” Levi asks, turning his head to look behind him slightly at you.

You without fear or hesitation smile happily and say “I love you sir, and I won't die without you knowing that.” You then lean in closer and quickly peck him on the cheek.

Levi continues to look at you emotionlessly with that lost look in his eyes and he leans in and kisses you back, this time on the lips. He then nods and turns his head back to the front. You blush deeply and smile happily as you nuzzle your face into the back of his green coat.

“I love you too…” he mumbles under his breathe, releasing the anger for the titans he feels for a split second.

You yelp as you fall off the side of the horse along with Levi and roll to the side; Levi rolling up next to you. A titan had come and gotten you two by surprise by attacking your horse.

“___.” Levi says as you twitch and open your eyes to look him in the eyes. “You are to follow all of my commands, all of my orders; when we get back, marry me.” He commands as he places a hand on your cheek and kisses you on the lips softly. He then gets up quickly and heads towards the titan, leaving you with a deep blush while internally dying from extreme fangirl mode.
