OH MY GOD. SOMETHING NON-ANIME.XD seriously, I *DO* know how to use -just- a pencil if I put my mind to it. School is keeping me so busy with art homework that I haven't had time to post any anime/manga-related stuff, but I thought this piece was nice enough to put up here on DA anyway :3
Pencil in varying hardnesses, took about five hours, originally on 18x24 cream drawing paper.

that is seriously cool stuff, i'm a pencil artist (i will eventually post up my work when i buy a scanner, or get someone to do it for me, my other stuff that is, a whole heap of other stuff that is,

beautiful shading. I especially love the glass. pencil shading is always something I've never been good at. mostly because I'm so afraid of smearing everything with my hand. XD
