I noticed when I went through my pictures, all the ones I have of him feature the guy smiling and looking cocky or in love. And while that is normally his expression, I wanted to show what he was like when he actually got serious with things. Decided to show how he is when doing his job.
He's a mage and he's really strong, but he doesn't have any formal training so though he has strength, he can only do a few small things with his magic like cast fire or shields, things that use nothing but his raw force rather then actual spells.

Oh, this is lovely.
I particularly love the detail given to the textures on the floor and wall, the spacing in the lattice-work over the windows and, of course, his expression. Oh, and you made the fire believable in a unique fashion.

Well done, he looks intense and very serious! I have not seen your character before, so he does have a very handsome profile. The flames dancing on the carpet are a wonderful suggestion to his mystical work.
