She's very anti social towards everyone since she tries to avoid conversations by avoiding eye contact and walking faster until she's far away from other people. She often overworks herself excessively when doing her given college work and studying. She's normally very depressed around this time, but she bottles it up to make herself not give any trouble to anyone else. She always sees herself as garbage compared to the others. Because of experiencing stress, she always feels anxious when someone else sees her art, afraid that people would berate her just like her professor. After getting berated, she becomes really depressed until it reached the point where she berates herself too.

- After death (before meeting Insomaniac): Olivia is much like her past alive self, but she's less friendly to other people except for her family. She never wants to come out of her apartment room because she loves staying in all the time unless she has the mood to check up on her family or haunt someone else. She plays a facade of being a nice person for a while as a way to gain trust from her victims when disguising as an alive human in her normal form in an illusory state. When haunting her victims in their dreams, she acts extremely cruel to them to make it a nightmare, since she only cares about accomplishing her goals of "making the world unique" by using "red paint" due to the effect from her schizophrenia, saying that the voices in her head, referring to them as her "friends" told her that it's necessary to reach her goal. She can endure herself from getting angry for quite a while, but when her victims struggle to escape from her too much including yelling for help, she eventually snaps from annoyance and sternly tells them to shut up. She's very determined to get what she wants by continuing to haunt them in nightmares until they reach their breaking point to the part where they decide to commit suicide. After haunting her victims in an angry state and drawing art to calm her nerves, she forgets the fact that she got angry during her recent hauntings. She also forgets the love that her family had for her due to her habit of forgetting things easily and her self doubt that they would forgive her for the things she's done sometimes. The only good attribute about her is that she's not completely heartless because she was always caring to her family. She just never shows her true caring side because she prefers to keep to herself.

- After death (after meeting Insomaniac): Olivia can be cautious and observant whenever she meets new people, due to always being suspicious of them posing a threat or hurt either her or her loved ones. She'll treat them aggressively at first if she notices something odd, but will slowly open up to them if she find nothing suspicious about them and become more trusting and caring of them if they don't show any hostile behaviour towards her. She'll become more aggressive and paranoid if she gets involved in something that is related to her past or someone who makes a mockery of her family. Since she's very smart when she was alive, she can think strategically depending on the situation she's involved in. She can be very cunning when haunting her victims. She also has most of the same attributes from her father. She's very loyal to her family due to getting enough needs from them, they spent time with her and were always there for her during bad times. She's strong-willed to protect her family name. She can be short tempered if someone ruins and destroys one of her artworks. However, her anger becomes more worse if she sees someone hurting one of her family members. - When Olivia was drawing on her sketchbook in her old apartment room, she heard her door slowly creak open and saw him. She stared at him for a bit. At first she thought he couldn't see her, so she went straight back to what she was doing. When he saw her, he then he asked her if he could stay for a while to rest and lets him. She asked him if he can see her since she's a ghost and it's normal for her to be invisible to humans. He replied with a yes. She also asked him if he was a human who's capable of seeing ghosts. He then told her that he was a ghoul and it was obvious for him because of that. After talking for a while, she became interested in him and was curious to know more about him, so she decided to talk to him more. After staying there for a day, he said that he would be back to visit again and left. From that day forward, they started to spend time with each other often. The stronger her bond grew with him, the more her romantic feelings started to grow towards him. One day, he started to admit his feelings towards her. Just like her, he had the same romantic feelings for her as well. When he asked her to be his girlfriend, she accepted it. Although he works for Zalgo, she doesn't hate him for it due to knowing that he only wants money from him.

Story: Olivia Flynn Étoile is a famous art prodigy of her father in New York. She's born with schizophrenia, but doesn't show it publicly. Although she's famous because of her father being well-known in the art community, she isn't very egotistical. She also has a older sister; Lyra Basquill Eve. Her father is an idol to a lot of people, due to his hardworking and determined personality, his never-ending creativity and his expertise in art. He was also both a decent father to both Lyra and Olivia. Her mother unfortunately died in a car accident when Olivia was 5 years old, which made her feel very sad. Her father became depressed, but he tries to control himself to make his daughters happy. As for Lyra being Olivia's sister; she always took responsibility of taking care of her and playing with her when she wanted to. They would even gaze at stars together to strengthen their sibling bond. She started to show signs of interest in art a few years later. She would always draw with her father and sister. Every time when her father was working on his drawings or paintings, she would watch him in awe, seeing how beautiful his artworks are. This encouraged her to become an artist like him when she grows up.

When Olivia was already 10 years old, her father started to suffer from heart failure. He was then sent to the hospital to do some surgeries. However, he mostly preferred them to pray for God to heal him. They started to pray for him every single day. His condition was getting worse at that time. He still believed that they could try to cure him along with the surgeries. As for Olivia in an exception, she didn't agree with him. She felt like every time she prayed, she felt like watching his condition slowly get worse and waiting for him to die, not doing anything to help. She felt like there was no progress on his condition getting better. He died 7 months later. Due to that, she had lost her faith in God. Lyra questioned Olivia about her mood. However, she didn't want to burden her more about it, so she lied. She hated to lie to her own sister because she knew that it was wrong, but she knew that it was necessary to keep Lyra focused on her life to make her happy. Her grandparents then took them in to live with them in Oklahoma.

A few years later, Lyra was elected to study in a high prestigious music college located in Seattle. Since it was far away from Oklahoma, she has to go move there to make it easier for her to attend class in the college. Before she left for her flight on Olivia's birthday, she gave her a heart-shaped necklace. She made a sad smile as she saw her leave. She didn't want Lyra to leave, but she understood that Lyra needs to continue her studies in music. Since then, the emotion of loneliness and sadness had stuck on her because she would no longer be able to be with Lyra. But fortunately, Lyra would visit her at during the holidays. After Olivia graduated from high school at the age of 18, she was elected to go another high prestigious college, except that the college mainly focuses on art, located far from her grandparents' house. She remembered that she saw an apartment building near the college, so she planned to move there. She said her goodbye to her grandparents before she moved out.

As Olivia was dealing with a lot of stress, struggling to aim high in her studies in art, she neglected her rest time, except on weekends. If she already completed all of her school work, she would study hard in order to pass her tests in flying colours. The college had a very strict and cynical professor, who was Evan Hyatt Wilver. His method was very brash, but it helped his students to become successful in becoming experts in art world. Olivia is a novice art student with very little training, and since her father was well-known, Professor Wilver had higher expectations for her and gave harsh criticism on her artwork when it failed to meet his standards. She was very passionate about her art, and was steadily improving and attempting to follow through with the instructions her professor had given her.

However, it negatively affected her mental state. Because of that, she has suffers from nightmares for many continuous nights even when she takes a nap in the evening, depression due to being demoralized by the professor's words and schizophrenia, including disturbing illusions. Even though it's like that, she tells herself that they were all in her head in order to calm down. Since then, she started to avoid herself from talking to people because they will think that she's wasting their time on her if she was their friend, including her sister and her grandparents. She would rarely ever go outside and would always stay in her own apartment room unless she needed to buy something important. All she ever does is drawing and painting to improve her art.

Then one day, she got expelled from her college due to not achieving a good result in her test, although she tried very hard. She felt like she lost everything. She knew that if she told her family that, they would become very disappointed in her because she wasn't supposed to get expelled from a good college. She was very angry at herself, so she decides to commit suicide. She wrote a suicide letter, then takes a gun that she normally uses for self- defense, takes the last bullet she had left and shot herself with it. But since she can't go to heaven, refuses to go to hell since committing suicide is a sin, she became a ghost after she died. When she saw her own family grieving for her in front of her grave and she overheard them saying that they were never disappointed in her because they loved her very much, she starts regretting the decision she made. Since that day, she vowed herself to protect them at all costs, even if it involves killing. She also started to have twisted thoughts about making reality more unique with blood and mixing them to make more colors due to the voices in her head from her schizophrenia to improve her creativity.

How she kills: She enters her victim's dream and distorts it into a nightmare. She continues to haunt them by killing them for 'red paint' in their nightmare. She keeps doing it until they commit suicide.

Targets: She only picks anyone who plan to hurt her family and scorn their name.

Why she kills: She knows that killing is wrong, but it is necessary for her in order to protect her family from harm. Her motivation for this is Olivia's loyalty to her family. She also needs some 'red paint' for extra paint supply for painting purposes.

After Olivia graduated from high school at the age of 18, she was elected to go another high prestigious college, except that the college mainly focuses on art, located far from her grandparents' house. She remembered that she saw an apartment building near the college, so she planned to move there. She said her goodbye to her grandparents before she moved out.

As Olivia was dealing with a lot of stress, struggling to aim high in her studies in art, she neglected her rest time, except on weekends. If she already completed all of her school work, she would study hard in order to pass her tests in flying colours. The college had a very strict and cynical professor, who was Evan Hyatt Wilver. His method was very brash, but it helped his students to become successful in becoming experts in art world. Olivia is a novice art student with very little training, and since her father was well-known, Professor Wilver had higher expectations for her and gave harsh criticism on her artwork when it failed to meet his standards. She was very passionate about her art, and was steadily improving and attempting to follow through with the instructions her professor had given her.

However, it negatively affected her mental state. Because of that, she has suffers from nightmares for many continuous nights even when she takes a nap in the evening, depression due to being demoralized by the professor's words and schizophrenia, including disturbing illusions. Even though it's like that, she tells herself that they were all in her head in order to calm down. Since then, she started to avoid herself from talking to people because they will think that she's wasting their time on her if she was their friend, including her sister and her grandparents. She would rarely ever go outside and would always stay in her own apartment room unless she needed to buy something important. All she ever does is drawing and painting to improve her art.

Then one day, she got expelled from her college due to not achieving a good result in her test, although she tried very hard. She felt like she lost everything. She knew that if she told her family that, they would become very disappointed in her because she wasn't supposed to get expelled from a good college. She was very angry at herself, so she decides to commit suicide. She wrote a suicide letter, then takes a gun that she normally uses for self- defense, takes the last bullet she had left and shot herself with it. But since she can't go to heaven, refuses to go to hell since committing suicide is a sin, she became a ghost after she died. When she saw her own family grieving for her in front of her grave and she overheard them saying that they were never disappointed in her because they loved her very much, she starts regretting the decision she made. Since that day, she vowed herself to protect them at all costs, even if it involves killing. She also started to have twisted thoughts about making reality more unique with blood and mixing them to make more colors due to the voices in her head from her schizophrenia to improve her creativity.

How she kills: She enters her victim's dream and distorts it into a nightmare. She continues to haunt them by killing them for 'red paint' in their nightmare. She keeps doing it until they commit suicide.

Targets: She only picks anyone who plan to hurt her family and scorn their name.

Why she kills: She knows that killing is wrong, but it is necessary for her in order to protect her family from harm. Her motivation for this is Olivia's loyalty to her family. She also needs some 'red paint' for extra paint supply for painting purposes.

They used to not get along well, but they slowly became best friends when they got to know each other more. When ever Olivia felt sad or depressed, Sophie would normally try to cheer her up by telling her funny jokes and puns. Sophie is the second person that she looks up to as her role model due to Sophie's trait of determination other than Olivia's father. They're usually seen hanging out together.

Some parts of Iris' personality makes Olivia remind her of Lyra, due to her personality being quite similar to Iris.
