Description
Unfinished. A very young Brooklyn, looking very sleepy. A different style than usual, but I like it...mostly...I'm stumped... I want to do a savanna background. But I suck at bg's -_-*. I might try to find someone to do it for me, but I really wanna do it myself... *sigh*
This will be a partner piccy to another I'm currently working on of young Kraken and Levi.
I will pro'ly delete this, I just wanted some ideas. So...I wouldn't fav it. I'll be taking it down soon. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Okay, I think next time I'll have to make it more clear that Brooklyn is a MALE angel. I think it's because I made his eyes big.
And btw, he's Kraken's twin--making him CF's uncle.

SOO PREETTYY. i love it. plz don't delete it. PLEASE!!!! i love angels (or things that look like them too) and the colors, the softness, the face, the wings... everything is beautiful. i want her. (or the pic, either one). um for a background. probabaly not something realistic, but i was thinking, having her laying on a cloud in the sky. like a white-ish silver cloud with either a blue or an orange sky behind her, i think blue would look better against the wings. so yeah. and i did fav+ this cuz its soo cool.

I too, love the wings. As for a BG...definately something a bit darker so Brooklyn stands out. Hmm...BGs are a necessary evil I have yet to figure out.

He's very beautiful! & I just had to stick him in my faves! I love the pose too & the way the wings just fade off into nothingness! & don't let that one critic worry you; his wiast ins't too small at all. It appears to be hidden by by his sleeve which would explain why it looked too small to them... All in all a beautiful drawing! luv kira

The wings... the wings are beautiful...
I spent 6 hours painting feathered wings on another piccy, and they hardly got any mention at all... It made me sad.
That's why I don't make angelic characters anymore.

The only qualm is that, even though it seems to be your style, his waist is way to thin, even for a charateristic.
He looks more like an anemic woman with a corset on than a bishonen.
Thicken his waist up, it should be as wide as his head at least.
And even though his limbs are bent, for some reason they are giving the apperance of being to short; but I believe that this is being caused by the fact that his shoulders and hips are too narrow.
Guys (except for very girly bishous) have wide shoulders; and while, unlike a girl, their hips should not be as wide (or wider) than their shoulders, they need to be a bit wider than they are.
But his wings... I can't get over the wings...
They are so simple yet elegant!!

The wings were simple, really. Just the smudge tool and a few appropriately layered colors ^^.
As for Brooklyn, I do realize he is skinny -_-, but he has smaller arms and shoulders because he's still just a child. He's basically an angelic adaptation of a seven to eight-year-old human, so he's short. But anyway...yeah. I did kind of mess up on his waist. But I'm going to work on it and a bg (which I'm still struggling with... GR).

As always, lovely, clean lineart, and very nice colouring ^_^ Especially on his outfit, eyes, skin colour, tail (that is a tail, right?
The colouring in general is really good, and flows with the detail of th lineart, but the shading -really- adds to the somber, peaceful, sleepy feel along with his expression. The wings and tail really give a soft feeling, while the sense of his being 'above', and his clothes almost seem to have a more... I can't find the word, but serious feel will have to do. I'm not quite sure, but it kind of hints at something more mature behind it all.

I'd recommend rocks, waterfalls and water. lol. A watery scene...savanna is something different.........like grasslands........dry grasslands...........african-kind grasslands.............

only suggestion I have is to do the background as some sort of..darker color..like perhaps a dark green for some bushes, or a dark to light brown for sand? Whatever you do don't do it too light or the beautiful wings won't show up good enough to show off how cool they are ^_^
