Yay! I really like him! I am rather pleased with his char' design.

This is Coldfire, a character based off of my best buddeh James ^^. I wuv you, James-chan !

I will be drawing plenty more of this character, and Trisha, as well. I really like him lotsies .

Anyway, here's the base plot for the series. I dunno. I know some of you guys really like to read these things--even if they ARE a little long ^^".

Personality:
Quiet-natured and often stoic, 'Coldfire', as he was nicknamed by his fellow demon slayers, is not a warrior any 'flesh'/'earth' demon would enjoy running in to. Having been raised by a group of well-known demonslayers, he learned very early how to kill flesh demons, and even how to ward off spirit demons. His amazing ability to remain unhamed even after a major blow from an opponent made him quickly renouned among other slayers, AND demons.

His ability to create fires that didn't hurt those he cared for, but froze his enemies is where his nickname--Coldfire--originated. The flames were chilling, and, when used correctly, could easily freeze his opponents or inanimate objects.

Before he met Levi and Trisha, Coldfire had no idea of his past. He was discovered in a cave in the East, from where he was taken to the angel Levi. Levi, wishing to keep the child safe from Kraken and his minions, suppressed his memory, and then took him to where he felt the child would be kept safe--the Demon Tribe of Turana, where he had many friends and allys.

As he grew, Coldfire knew he was different than the other children in the village. He had different hair, strange powers, and for thise most the children feared him. When he was close to running away, he met a young angel girl named Akari. Having made a new friend that he felt incredibly connected to, Coldfire spent every waking hour by her side. They ran through fields, climbed trees, told ghost stories late at night, swam, trained and ate together, and told each other everything--their hopes, their dreams, and their pasts. And as she told him about her life as an angel, Coldfire felt deep down that he belonged with her kind. That he belonged on the battlefield with others like herself. And when he asked her why she was here rather than with the angels, she said her place was with him, and that her time had not yet come.

As the years passed, he grew more and more interested in the angelic creatures Akari talked about so often. And when Akari was kidnapped by demons while she was sick and he was out, Coldfire was devastated. He swore to himself he'd never accept the lie that she'd been killed. She was out there. She had to be alive. After all, their souls were so close. Is she had been killed, wouldn't he be dead, as well?

When Coldfire turned seventeen, Levi returned to the tribe and told him he was an angel. Too shocked to accept the obvious truth, Coldfire fled the village, running into two demons. He struggled, but the battle was over quicker than he could pull his blade. He was taken to a cavern far in the north, where he was ordered to take up an orb containing the demon lord Kraken. When his village was threatened, he did as he was told, releasing Kraken.

Coldfire returned to his village, where he found many had been brutally slaughtered. Levi explained the situation, that only Coldfire could return Kraken to the orb he'd been placed in centuries ago, and said he would train Coldfire to do so. But they first had to even the balance of power by releasing Brooklyn. And thus his training began.
