Description My half of an art trade with my pal ! We're swopping piccys of Shugo-chan!
I'm rather pleased with the turnout of this picture. I think I got the motion just right, and his face mirrors the moment. It's from close to the very beginning of the series--protecting Beth from another demon, of course.
If you can't tell, I'm planning to fill the bg in. I'm wanting to either draw a piccy of him as a human or Beth and put one or the other behind him. I think it would look really great, but right now it's finished.

And again, I created Shugo, etc, WAY before Inuyasha came on (believe it or not), so NO they are NOT inspired by the Inu. ^^ As much as I love Inuyasha, Shugo is not a piece of inspiration from watching the hanyou run around killing demons. Shugo is indeed half-demon, but he's a angel to the core.

I love the posing and the movemen is gorgous! I really like the detail in his hands and feet! The contrast of his hair to his skin tone is gorgous and I love how you handled the fabric! You always seem to have such energy and emotion in your work! I love his facial expression and the way that his hair is tipped in red that fades to black. The blood and the shifting of the fabric is so unbeliveably gorgously done! Absolutely wonderful work! I always enjoy you artwork tons! You have such a wonderful style!

Thanks! I do try to get the folds right, but sometimes they can be both frustrating and difficult. This came pretty easily, surprisingly. I'm really happy with this one. This must be one of my better piccys of Shugo. I'm happy that I'm getting better with hands and feet, though. They are difficult to master, but I think I've almost gotten them down.

Hands and feet always seem to be the hardest to learn! And I think that you have mastered them perfectly for this piece its wonderful! Clothing always drives me nuts to try and figure out

Akarui: Shugo's the main character of my new series. He's a half-demon angel looking for peace of mind. He's seeking revenge, more to say. ^^ He's a little rough around the edges, but we all love 'im anyway.
