Art looks great, and the logo adds to it nicely, instead of being a distraction.
How far progressed is this... comic, I assume?

Looks good in action, crisp and clean, easy to read, and does not take away from the artwork
But - to me - it seems like it needs to stand out more, needs a little... "pop" I guess

I like your logos; they're always clean and catching. I know you said you aren't suggesting that this be the cover which... is a good idea, I think. It's really confusing composition wise, especially with the lettering in the corner there. The logo is too pretty to hide it like that!

it's pretty spiffy looking though.
the logo is fairly simple, but easy to read and oddly appealing (at least to me)
