Somethings making noises and Tom and Jerry are curious. Jerry woke up Tom and Tom got pissed and caught Jerry and just as he was going to hit him or something, they heard the weird noise again and well, yeah. I just made that up when thinking about the picture.Y'see, I watched most of the Tom and Jerry marathon on Boomerang yesterday and started skecthing Tom and Jerry. I think this came out okay. I would've spent more time on it, but I didn't know what much else there was to be done. *shrug*
There will be more Tom and Jerry. I love these guys a lot. More than the Looney Tunes. *nod, nod*
Also, I KNOW Tom's eyes look weird.
Oh, also, I based him off of the Hanna-Barbera designs. To be honest, I can't stand the Chuck Jones or Gene Deitch versions.

-The lazy shading. X3

Yeah, that's pretty much the way "Tom and Jerry" worked! Tom & Jerry+ Hanna and Barbara=The Kings of Masterpieces and seven Emmy Awards! Tom & Jerry+Gene Deitch=God-Awful Character designs, slip-shod music production and vocal values, and forgettable story plots at best! Tom & Jerry+Chuck Jones=Awkward attempt to bring the Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote formula to their format that didn't quite work out.

Isn't it a shame? You won't find cartoon violence quite like Tom and Jerry anymore. In fact, they've cut out some more violent than usual bits before we were born, I'm sure. O.o
