Description     There was an old Shepard who would keep a flock sheep. They would be seen grazing on the fields outside the city, providing their keeper with wool and lambs for slaughter. The Shepard also had two dogs. They would work like a single entity, guiding the sheep towards their next grazing fields as the Shepard would give his commands. He was very proud of his flock, and felt blessed to have such obedient hounds by his side.
One day, he bought a ram from afar. It was a majestic animal, wool like the tone of a dark cloud rising from a charcoal fired chimney. Its eyes like brilliant glowing embers. But what made this ram special, was the set of horns adorning its proud head. The Shepard would try and trim the second pair of horns into stumps, but he always failed in his attempts. For the first time ever, his hounds would begin growling at him if he even touched the ram's horns. He stopped trying after one of the dogs snapped at him with its razor sharp fangs. The ram was a good sire for its herd. The sheep would follow it where ever it went. They would halt their sounds if the ram spoke. The dogs became poor at their duties. They would ignore their master's commands. Sometimes they would not move an inch. Only if the ram moved fields, the flock would follow. The Shepard blamed bad luck.
Then one day, the Shepard died. He had no family to inherit his flock, so they would be gathered and sold. But the herd was no where to be seen. Even the dogs were gone. People kept looking and searching, until their time became limited and all was forgotten.
Years passed and the world progressed onwards in its purpose. The fields became barren and ruined, driving all farmers away. The lights no longer lit up in small homes as people moved into the city for sanctuary. The world became restless. I left the city and went for a walk by the countryside. The sky was red and sinister with its crescent moon. Everything seemed dead. The air had a smell of decay linger in it. Then I heard... Sheep. Somewhere far, their calls carried by the weak wind. I looked upon a grassy hill, when I saw them. A ram, and the Shepards dogs standing by its side. They looked at me, drilling their eyes into my soul. The ram had a look of friendliness in its eyes, but the longer I looked, the more that feeling became more dooming. There was a lie within that gaze of gentleness. A smirk of victorious pride. After a while, the ram turned around and walked off, followed by the dogs. And soon after they had disappeared, the calls of the sheep were gone.

I guess a certain sequel to the Dawn of the Last Day piece, but the setting is elsewhere. Wanted to leave this one a bit rigid in style for the sake of getting it done in a timely manner.
