which... makes me very sad. actually, i've only read a chapter here and there since he died. my poor ulqui... I WUB JOO STILL!!!
no, i'm not gonna stop reading bleach, though it's pretty god damn depressing when your favorite character dies.
with my luck, ishida, ukitake, byakuya, and urahara are all gonna frickin' die. MY FAVORITES ALWAYS DO, WTF!! that's what i get for loving side characters and villains, i guess...
anyway...
i'd like to dedicate this to
she was totally patient with me, and i missed her birthday by nearly a month with her baby byakuya. so, have a dying ulquiorra, dear.

I really like the flow to this picture. And I am very impressed with the texture of the sand like dust coming off Ulquiorra. Even though Ulquiorra doesn't show much emotion his eyes make me think he is sad. I areally like the amount of work you put into his face. I think the one thing that kind of bugs me is his ribs. They are little bit too defined. Though it is keeping true to how Kuno draws his characters. Overall I really do like this picture. And also like the flow of the background with the moon and the clouds. It is just like Hecho Mundo.

i absolutely agree on the ribs. i was trying to do this a bit more kubo-ish. if i had it my way, i'd make him a little thicker, instead of all scrawny like he's supposed to be. XD

mhm the rib part i agree on but i wouldn't say it needed to be changed, it still looks great as is. and the amount of detail u put into every piece still amazes me.

I <3 the disintegration effect. Just too cool--like sands in the the hourglass... Plus the contrast of the dust on his skin and wings.
The hole in his chest looks like it's bleeding. Paired with the despair in his eyes--so alive, direct and sad, his expression and the sad tilt of his frowning lips and the broken horn--it's like he expected nothing less than to die again.
I'm curious. Did you leave his number off on purpose? I have only seen some of the manga and not the anime. I don't know if the numbers disappear from dying espada.

I and many people I know were reading Bleach only for him , so, I don't think Kubo wanna lost a great amount of his fans just to prove he can kill an important chara. If he does, then he has lost his mind.

The instant I saw this my breath was literally taken away. Fantastic work. He looks so...human! lol, ironically enough... I especially love the face and the hair, and the background is perfect. Sigh, Well I guess somebody has to actually die in this manga don't they?

Hmmm...because Kobu is secretly a sadist and just wanted hear the echoing of worldwide fangirl screams? lol, I don't know. But he was technically one of the bad guys, and probably most if not all of the arrancar will eventually die (my fangirl heart: nuuuu! Grimmjow!!!). Now if Kubo would just kill Yammy quickly (and no beautiful death for him). I really can't stand that guy >.<

yammy's annoying... and i know it's shounen, and the bad guys have to be punished (i think grimmjow's going to be excluded here, btw)...
but the good guys have to die, too. completely unrealistic that they're not.
though i just know it'll be my beloved side characters that bite the dust, instead of something stupid and fucking obnoxious, like orihime. XD
