Ever since I was little, I wanted to have magicBut magic isn't real
So I picked up a pencil, and started to draw
I drew princesses, unicorns, and witches
I drew for love, I drew for hate, I drew for sadness
I drew and drew and drew, refining and sharpening my skills, as well as my pencil
Until one day, I woke up, and realized...
I have magic.
I have a magic gift within my hands
A gift within my eyes
A gift within my mind
A gift that is mine
I am thankful, and I cherish this gift
And I will continue to work hard to refine my magic gift

Just something I was thinking about one day. Thought this would be a neat idea, and I definately had fun with the rendering and coloring...
Of course, it was after I finished that I realized I must be on drugs or something.
LOL, not really, but perhaps I went a little too overboard with the colors...? I'd really like to have some comments and suggestions on this.
The character here is pretty much Aki, but the image wasn't intended to be related to any of the RPs I use her in. It's more about myself.

As for more constructive commentary, perhaps abit more subtle in the shanding and or high-lighting district. You have a rather brightly shining light there. I would think there'd be a bit more sheen in her skin and hair. Not much more, I personally kind of like the hazy look in her skin.
The colours that come from the light in her hands is very pretty, though somewhat choppy. Maybe try for smoother lines? Key word, maybe. The choppy kinda fits.
Other tid bits. Whers her collar bone? o0 unless shes wearing a high neck dress...yeah ^,x,^;
nose, just smidge big. I thinks anyway.
Others wise, beautiful. And love the commentary, deary.

Derm, I might go back and giver her a collarbone... But other than that... I rather like it as is. :3 I made it that bright on purpose to keep the focus on her hands and face...
Yeah, I know the nose was big when I was drawing it, but the shape came out so nice I didn't want to try again.
