Sailor Mercury as a Gun Mage :'DHer skirt is supposed to have "Mercury" on it in Spirian script (though you can only see part of it) as with how the costumes are in Final Fantasy.
I actually was choosing between a white mage or a gun mage. Since Ami wants to be a doctor and all... But I opted for gun mage because of her computer since, well... it lets her scan her enemies and find their weak points! So I went with that eventually. It wasn't an easy choice though, but I have all the scouts and their classes picked out already.

I'm on such a roll with these! The convention I wore this to was really slow so I didn't get any good shots...and my gun broke (thankfully it's 90% solid wood so not much to repair). I'm gonna go back and make the gun as a working bubble gun (to play off the "mercury bubble blast").
But now my computer can now type documents in Al Bhed font (which is what you are referring to as Spirian Script).

Thank you! I still need to finish the Tuxedo Mask design. Luckily it's all little touch up stuff I need to do and then I'll make your Sailor Moon design and were it to Dragoncon. I plan to do enough to cover 12 designs (technically 13, but moon and tuxedo go to together) and make a cosplay calendar from the photos.

This is so fantastic! Your entire series has been so gorgeous! I think Gun Mage suits Mercury to a T! I hope (?) you're open to cosplay interpretations of your designs... I'd love to make this one. :3
