You mean at the end of the short? Well, yes. The main part of the story takes place before Luna's banishment, then the last bit is after her return. Only a very few ponies live over a thousand years.

For a fan film Snowdrop was really beautiful. I even like the character Snowdrop. I really like how humble she is. And I like that she's blind. It makes her struggle more interesting.
I find it fitting that the one who couldn't see was the one who could see beauty in the winter.
I guess it's true that one really does not need eyes to see the beautiful things in the world.
