First Sign of Evo-Gene Activity: On July 4, 2017 Joshua's Evo-Gene awakened during an accident with fireworks. An accident that should have left him severely burned and yet he came through it with no burns at all.

Powers: Joshua is able to move his molecules and blood plasma in a confusing way that causes his body to emit vast amounts of heat. Emitting so much heat his body produced the ability to absorb, control, and literally breathe heat. Utilizing his powers he can also create flames and project blasts of heat from his hands and eyes. With practice he learned to use his powers to engage in flight. His body's ability to produce heat and re-breathe it, allows him safe passage through space. He is also able to form heat barriers around himself and others, thus providing protection from physical attacks & energy weapons. However, larger barriers weaken him physically and mentally.

Abilities: HeatWave is an experienced hand-to-hand combatant due to his 2 years spent with S.E.A.D. He is also an instinctive tactician and strategist.
