...and it will remain incomplete until I find a way to finish it... I didn't want to go the exploding polygon route, and such: just the blur, smudge, airbrush, and dodge route...Otherwise, I guess simplicity is the spice of life..

-I used this image I made [link] , which was done with liberal use of the smudge and paintbrush tools. I colored certain parts of it, as well as used polar coords to give it its circular shape. (The image is named firefly.)
-I'll explain the rest later, but that should give you an idea...

This is an incredibly detailed yet clear piece. Very vibrant coluor choice.
Makes me quite embarrassed to think that the GIMP is capable of doing this sort of thing (i think!).

Wow! Very slick piece. I definetely like those rainbow coloured smoke trails, makes this look very good. And those green lines on the left really seem to fit this as well. I'm not too sure about the wings near the type on the right hand side of the image though. Doesn't seem to fit the rest of the image. I do like the type, however - nice and simple. Great job on this

might just be me but i think this would looks really cool if it was just 1 or 2 even 3 colors but the whole wheel thing just doesnt get em going other the the color looks wanderful great idea and well put on the page. Keep up the good work.
