Sit there and stare,
the burning fire,
inspires a deep desire.

I want to be like the wax,
in heat - flow,
and in light - glow.

Wax can be strong,
it just needs to cool,
and quit being a fool.

Drip down the side,
of the candlestick,
as the flames lick.

Is that the candles tears?
They must be tears of joy,
the flare casts such a happy ploy.
