Description
This is the first of a series of images based on my memories of old New Orleans.Femme Creole was inspired by a song performed by Louisianas LeRoux , called "New Orleans ladies". For those of you who know it, I need not say more - for others see a small part of the lyrics below.

Don't be stupid. I did this in 2008 (in case you can't do the math that was 3 years ago - probably while you were still playing with dolls) before anyone knew who she was, or better yet before I even heard of her. In fact the only reason I know who she is, is because dooshes like you keep thinking it is.
Oh, and by the way. Her whole style was taken from ideas that came out of the Bohemian movement in the quarter during the 1970's. Quit making stupid comments and play with your dolls.

Well you should remember that New Orleans, was once the center of the U.S. burlesque seen. Its one of the few places that we are free to enjoy ourselves. Even though it has become very commercial, there are still couple of clubs such as the Dungeon and Andy Caps that still maintain that lifestyle. Lolita's where popular there way before the invention of even electricity.
