Here is Mikey loving Bunny (as seen in Tales of TMNT issue #62) and Raph hating her since she tried to kill him (after transforming into several different monsters).
I really like this story as this is based off a true story where Eastman and his friend were tormented by a real rabbit their friend Ryan Brown left for them to babysit.
As a rabbit person all my life, I know all too well the 'evils' of rabbits. They are NOT fluffy cute sweet innocent creatures (well, they are, but they are also vicious beasts that fight to the bloody death- they are very mean and territorial beyond belief, depends on the rabbit more so of course- not all are 'evil', but too many are).
I've had experienced 3 different rabbits that were absolute beasts of Hell- Trixie (she went nuts when her previous owner deprived her of air-conditioning and had to be an outdoor rabbit), Cream-Pie (he's something like Eddie from Ed, Edd, Eddie- big talk, no walk- loves to bite and draw blood to relieve sexual tension), and Cinnamon (stray cat tried to kill him, but was rescued and became very unstable as he got older- loved to bite nerve endings off- my left hand isn't the same thanks to that rabbit).
So I know very much what Eastman and his friend went through with rabbit-sitting.
In the comic, Raph does get bit by Bunny and she draws blood. Then she turned into a rabbit monster, then a toothy tentacle monster and quickly turns back into a cute bunny when Mikey returns.
Mikey loves Bunny because she's like a replacement for Klunk, who got run over and killed. I hope Bunny will appear in the remaining issues Mirage will make. She's cute, but deadly

I started drawing TMNT around March 2009 this year with no prior knowledge of the Mirage version of the Turtles. I try to do them as much justice as my skill drawing directly in ink by freehand allows (not the best art out there, I know but I do try). Oh yeah, I read that comic in the comic shop last week. It was a good read in my opinion, and glad I can understand some of the references without having to look back at the early comics. ^^

My sister bought that issue and showed it to me ^^ I relate well to this bunny issue as I know all too well of rabbits and their horrors (even though they are my fave animals, doesn't mean they are safe gentle animals all the time

Glad to hear that a fellow TMNT fan watched that movie, which btw rocked! ^^ I was happy to see 2k3 Raph develop a soft side for his 1987 counterpart towards the end. And I was glad to see the 1987 Turtles give 2k3 Mikey constant noogies and make him scream like a girl one last time. XD

I don't know if 2k3 Raph really liked the pudgy 80's Turtles, but I think they left all the 2k3 Turtles with lasting impressions ^.^ It's cute how the 80's Turtles played with 2k3 Mikey constantly, that was adorable
I wonder what the next new movie will be like and the animated CGI series coming in the upcoming years. It better be a worthwhile story to follow for the series- I think they said they'll show the Turtles as tots, that's what I'd love to see in the next new movie

Yeah, even Mikey knew when to be serious around them. It showed that underneath that playful exterior, he can be serious and he knows the Ultrom Shredder is no joke, lol.
I too wonder what the animation will be like. Although, sticking to the comics roots has already played out for the 2k3 series. I definitely don't mind a new fresh take on the Turtles, but keep it true to their origins. And let's not forget the 30th anniversary of the TMNT ^_~

I feel the same, as long as it doesn't radically change the origin story (like the 2k3 series did with Shredder being an Utrom called Ch'Rell instead) and the animation is equal or exceeds the 2k7 movie's quality, I'll be happy. Especially if there's Turtle tot stories too.
It'd be great if they focused on how Don likes April too, they only hint it in the 2k3 series. Hopefully the 30th and 50th anniversaries will be grand and over the top as well.
