One of my favorite stories is Dagon by H.P. Lovecraft, I thought it would be a suitable book for her to read
The majority of my dolls are BJDs, 1/4th or larger, so working in such a small scale has been a challenge. I think her paint job came out a tad sloppy but overall I'm pleased.
**My husband spotted this brand and brought home one as a surprise. I feel in love with the overall theme. It makes me happy to know that girls have an alternative style doll available to them for a reasonable price. ^_^**

Thank you! I made it, they take a bit of time but your left with a great prop. If you'd like to make one of your own I'll tell you what I did. I made a wire frame and glued a wooden dowel in the center with gorilla glue (which expands and drys tough as nails) Then I soaked a circle of canvas in a solution of tacky glue and water, laid it over the frame and left it to dry over night. The next day I glued some fabric to the inside to keep it all together. I painted on the skulls and glued on fabric trim round the top. Hope that helps ^_^

Thank you! Hmm tips for books... I made mine rather quickly so there may be a better way than my own lol. I just grabbed a few book cover images offline and put them together in photoshop. For the cover I used a thick card stock. The inside, just some plain computer paper glued together on the spine between each layer.

Whoa, the colors, background, and outfit, plus the amazing repaint all make this look really good!! I thought it was a painting at first when I saw the thumbnail image, lol
