Purple light sabers: Jedi that draw into both light and dark sides of the force. Very fitting for barriss

I wish (and hope) this will become canon but really i dont know what to think about the whole season 5 finale. (honestly all I do was make up stories with a better ending than her becoming a sith or being killed) anyways great artwork and whether or not we see her in rebels, I hope something good becomes of her...

Those old pre-Disney comics, novels and video games are no longer 'primary canon', so no one knows if Barriss and the others were killed, only Luminara and those in Episode 3. For all we know, Quinlan Vos and his family could come into Rebels or Depa!

It's disputed as to it's legitimacy.
I remember, Depa was also on the Council when Qui-Gon brought Anakin for testing
Quinlan is awesome
I hate the fact that Disney has just thrown decades of hard work, by people George Lucus allowed to use his universe, out the window

I like this, I don't picture her serving the Empire and her speech at the end of "The Wrong Jedi" suggests it. I picture Ahsoka breaking her out of prison because she knows Barriss isn't fully corrupted, like Ventress. I can see Ahsoka, Barriss and Asajj teaming up to survive post-Order 66.

I share the same vision. Ahsoka isn't one to stand idly by while a friend like Barriss faces a severely dark and bleak future.

I really think that Disney will simply make her the leader of the Inquisitors and even be the Pau'an Inquisitor's master. I don't see that as realistic, she wouldn't serve the Empire that serves the dark side.
Although her hatred of Jedi may be her only driving motivation left and she'll help the Empire hunt them down regardless of her own views. She just hates Jedi too much to care about what the Empire does.

so are those Ventress' sabers, just with new crystals in them? if so, that'd be awesome! especially since purple is befitting a Jedi who's walked on the line of the Dark Side and yet has come out in the Light. this, also is great work! love the background!

I actually sculpted these sabers as a combination design taking inspiration from Ventress' sabers and Ahsoka's. You can see Ventress in the curvature and the black/silver color blocking. You can see Ahsoka in the silver symmetrical emitter. I haven't written the fan fiction yet, but in my story she makes new sabers after Order 66 drawing inspiration from Ahsoka and her attraction to Ventress' blades.

Barriss look so beautiful and deadly, something I tend to like about the girls of Star Wars

Roflolz so true. I hope they give at least Leia and Mara Jade some good screentime in ep.7, at least those two.

Well, I don't read that much into that line. I view it as something she blurted out as an expression of her frustration with Anakin's interrogation technique that represented everything about the current Jedi that she was against. Which is actually reading a lot into it, now that I think about it...

That line by Anakin is one of the biggest WTF moments in that episode for me. Why would he ever yell "you should've gotten rid of them" to her!? Is he upset that she held on to the crucial peaces of evidence that he needed to convict her? Is he coaching her for trying to get away with crimes in the future? Where the heck did that line come from lol?

Barriss could easily avoid Anakin's strike instead calling Asajj's lightsabers to her hands to block his attack. Anakin knew that a Jedi took Asajj's lightsabers, so I think that was the evidence that Anakin was looking for. I know it's bold but it worked eventually, and I don't think he didn't like it...
