Description This is my latest work in progress. an 18th century gown I am creating for a costume college event in a month. I just got the sleeves on today and i have to say I have a love hate with sleeves. I love thinking them up, but white knuckle it when I have to sew them. The fabric is a changable blue/gold silk taffeta I got from Bangkok silk on ebay and it was a long frustrating process to finally get it so i cannot recommend it for your project unless your desperate. But try silk baron first. I think they are more costly but the shipping is less so it all works out in the end. Anyhow.... I have a ton left to do, but always breathe easier when the sleeves are in. I have had to redo them from time to time and I don't want to wait for more silk since i have cut every last inch of this... Ok be well, i will post more when i have it done.

This is marvelous, darling. The fabric colors that you chose are lovely, and the sleeves are beautiful. I really love the accuracy of the costume, I can't wait to see the full thing.
