Wow. This is *gorgeous*! Really well done and I love her eyes in this picture. I was wondering if you might be willing to give permission for me to add this to a new album I've made for a Facebook page I admin: Mass Effect Female Shepard? I've just started up an album for FemShep x Traynor. I think this would be a lovely addition.

I'm good - just very tired lately. I wanted to write more about how the shading is freakin' amazing, and the colours are so vibrant, but I was already half asleep and so couldn't think to word.

Actually this little portrait has got a disproportionate amount of attention given that other things I do often don't get more than one or two comments if I've worked for 20 or 30 hours on them... I did this one on a lazy Sunday morning because I was trying to work up the energy to have a shower. This painting was less effort than a shower yet it's garnered a few comments on here and notes on tumblr in quite a short time. Such is life

Haha~ Yeah, I find the same thing - the things that I'm proud of and go 'this is what will make me famous' rarely get any attention at all, but the stuff that I'm like I'll draw this because everyone likes this character, those get popular. People are fickle.
