Description
Originally an unused sketch idea, commissioned by Michael Berger in 2008, for a toy display backdrop.

With the work lying around, I later found a use for it, as the background of "Planar's Gift" (In this gallery).

For that book, it was set on a terraforming Mars, and, I added the stormy effects and water for dramatic effect.

The basis was the Coal Canyon region of northern AZ, so often the origin of many astronomical works in this gallery.
