Well, we got Synchro and an Xyz of it.... logic would say they we would get a Fusion variant sooner or latter.

They skipped ritual & fusion, and gave him synchro + xyz , then everybody said there will be no fusion, except me ..............so your logic is wrong

Well, I thought It made since for there to be one..... I just didn't feel like saying anything because nothing I say on a comment would change rather or not they were making one.
And Konami repeatedly ignores Ritual...... it only got 2 users in Arc-V (you know, the series that made a bit of a big deal off all the summoning mechanics at the time), and neither of them lasted very long or had to many duels......... poor Alexis.

They could have if the writers decided to treat them the same way they treated all the other summoning mechanics.
After all, the split-dimensions-based-off-of-the-summoning-mechanics thing was in there from the start of Arc-V, even if we didn't get the first big clue to it till episode 7.
