One day, Ash and Pikachu were on their return to the Hoenn Region. After he ran along with Max and May, he found the same two who said they were a couple 5 1/2 years before Ash left for his brief stays of execution in Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, and Alola."You're still in love!" they said together.
"Us in love?" they said together, as history repeated itself. Leaping back, Ash grunted.
"That's a laugh," he said sarcastically.
"Exactly," said May and Ash in unison.
"Oops," they said, "you're blushing! Sarcasm like that means you two are in love with each other! You're like one another!"
Ash and May glanced at each other knowingly.
"Alright it's true," they said together before kissing to lighten the mood.
