Probably the next best Pokemon Trainer in the world would be Ash's "twin" of sorts, Ritchie. He was pretty much Ash's identical twin in terms of doing things; they both had a Pikachu, Charmeleon, and Butterfree, and plus, Sparky rides on its trainer's shoulders like Ash and Pikachu. I've always liked Ritchie and his friend Olivier. And Ritchie and Ash are both the same place sort of. Ritchie still resides with Olivier in the Orange Islands whilst Ash Ketchum is in the Alola Islands right now. I honestly wish we could see Ritchie in Alola with Ash, but then again, he's probably not well remembered, but I remember seeing a few episodes. Plus, he and Sparky got their own spinoff, in Pokemon Chronicles in the middle of Generation Two. I love these two because even if he wasn't there, I'd probably tell him he reminds me of Ash and Pikachu. How many visitors (if people visit him and Olivier on the Orange Islands) would tell him he reminds them of Ash if they knew the Kanto Trainer before the Tropical One? It'd be funny if Ritchie would get enrolled in Pokemon school. Then Ash and Ritchie can REALLY say they've been everywhere together! Enjoy!
