Description
The growing idea of my oldest Skyship, if not (arguably) the orginal Skyship. Not that I'm taking the floating boat idea as my own thing, but it was one of the main themes that started the Axolotl Realms. This ship, the "Atol" or "Atoleus" is a reocuring idea that follows with my original character "Herrick". They are as inseperable as Jack Sparrow and the Black Pearl, or Harlock and the Arcadia, or Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon. What started as a neat parody or semi-fanfiction of the concept of Harlock (hence the close name) turned into its own story~; which then gave creation to the world they exist in. They survived the great retcon (though is it really a retcon if the universe splits in two different ideas, albeit the divergent one was given more focus) and remain a founding pillar: A future storyline or myth.

The Atol as it stands (the idea) is an infamous Sky-ship, renown by her deeds under Herrick's idealisms and rogue state. There is no absolute truth of what Herrick represents; each retelling and reinterpretation, controdictory than the last account. Like the captain, no two tale of the ship's detail is the same. But what will / is to be told, is that the story of the Atol is one of deception and outwitting or outflying, almost every oppenent. Usually they would come out on top.

In the Axolotl Realms II (favoured WiP setting), the legend of the Atolice, was an event that partook in the mid 4th century of the war. Herrick would recruit across the realms and appose the Marshal, Van Peateckoal as their ultimate adversary. After the events, Herrick would disapear and never be seen from again. Other pirates or idealists would attempt Herrick's legacy, but they paled, only making the legend stronger. Was Herrick a hero, or a villian? That is a question, kept intentionaly vague.

The organic appearance of the Atolice is a call-back to the old Axolotl Realms styled ships. The pirates don't follow traditional or imperial standards. Atolice is a special ship, and she will continue to evolve.
