Description The first Ironclads were introduced in the late 600th year of the war. They were originally forged by independant companies, with a majority of the realms looking down upon them as a dishonourable warship for defying tradition. These infernal beasts betrayed the standard preset of wooden to metallic cast. But at the turn of the century, the ship-style was properly indexed and added to both sides catalogue; and a few centuries after the war, their form gained more traction in the armed forces.

The material that the Ironclads were constructed of, were an uncommon alloy, making their appearances rare and expensive to build. It was stronger than the iron extracted from the Red Sea volcanic vents, but only a margin weaker than old Edaj superwood (Native to Sigatoland, protected by flora specialists and indiginous folk).

From the Sairgao Region's multiple ocupations and sieges, the government worked with their people to defend themselves proper. Militia hives and local ship yards opperated in decades of respite to build up a reasonable self-defence force. The war-engines they crafted and soldiers trained, were initially born of farming equipment. Tuvaluland became the test bed for the Ironclad prototypes as well as other engineering marvals.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Strengths*

Armour - Slanted hull is resistant of ballistic ammunition and energy based weapons by material composition. It's integrity as a great skin, can be useful in ramming efforts.

Weapons - The broadside cannons have the ability to tilt slightly, giving an improved and longer ranged firing arc. Ballastic rounds (sphere-pellets, scatter-shots, shells and breach charges) are adaptive. Method of attack is assertive and brutal.

Stealth - Like some predatory aqautic creature, the vessel can navigate undetected and ambush unsuspecting skyships. Their skills allow them to traverse below the wave-currents or submerge in certain natural weather phenomena; the gas-fumes that pour from the vent stalks, are a byproduct of the vessel's unique engine that can dilute thunderstorm clouds and ruduce the chance of getting struck by deadly lightning

*Weaknesses*

Mobility - Heavy weighted hide presents a dificulty to keep up with most skyships of the line.

Blindspots - The Rear section that hosts the main propulsion is undefended.

Softspots - The undersides are the most vulnerable to attack; having virtually no special armour or offensive power.

Trail - Vented gasses from the engine can be tracked in finer weather conditions.
