I don't see how you ruined it. You mean after this step you did more to it that ruined it?

Well, what I see here is pretty darn cool. In facts its awesome! There very few images of anime characters in different styles and even fewer that look realistic. Also you bring up a very good point, Naruto is blond and blue eyed which he seems to have inherited from (no spoilers) so yes that's a strong argument that he is Caucasian. I hadn't thought of that until now but it makes sense.

I started to draw this way larger format and then i made it smaller somehow and oversaved the larger image
