Description
Finally started writing a script and doing some world building for my planned webcomic which means “time to redesign the main character again!”.
I decided to just write something short and simple to begin with just so that i can actually start making something instead of being stuck in a perpetual planning like I have been.
Hopefully I’ll have something to show soon.
(AIRO stands for the Artificial Intelligence Regulatory Organization which this character Xia is a member of.)

I really love the character design here - you seem to have captured a particular moment in the development of robotic prostheses, where the technology works, is viable, but isn't yet a 100% replacement for the original limb.

I've gone through a few designs for her arm (basically every time I draw it it's different lol) but I do like it being kinda janky. I think my though process was less that the technology is new and more that the society using it has lost the ability to maintain anything more advanced anymore.
