Told you I was going to draw Kovu after drawing Kiara I messed around with his colors a bit too, I wanted to make him less red and more brown, his mane looks a little too purple to me but im not going to change it and i kept his eyes basically the same I also gave him a full mane, because this is him as an adult and I was hoping he'd look more saturated
I struggled way more with his face than i thought i would, I couldn't decide on an expression, but I aimed for the "sexy" look like with Kiara XD

Kovu is a very hard charcater to draw. For me, he's the second hardest afater Nuka, which is mainly due to them both having angular faces. I do appreciate the different color pallet, I do full agree that he looks a bit too purple originally.

Nice. I didn't like his movie colors either. I once made an OC based on Kovu and when I tried to lighten Kovu's colors for color test it turned out he's basicaly a dark pink D:
