Description This illustration was a tribute to both the anniversary of Bram Stoker's classic tale Dracula and to the man himself. I have always loved the story of Dracula and I have always wanted to draw a ghost, so for the 100th anniversary of Dracula I combined the two concepts. The tomb stone to the left reads "Abraham Stoker, 1847 - 1912, Beloved Husband" however the tomb stone to the right starts to read "West.." which was the start of "Westenra" as in Lucy Westenra who was Dracula's first victim. So is the ghost Stoker's wife? Or is it Lucy?

I decided to add it to my Gallery because it was a turning point for me in my Work. For the first time I was very excited about the way this piece turned out, the colors and composition all seemed to fall into place. Years later, I look back at this piece and I still think it is one of my best in my collection.

I'm not really fond of the novel, but your artwork is amazing!
