This is very.... gentle. I can't find a better word. Very quiet, very touching... Almost too human.
P.S. Check the colours - skin looks a bit too yellow. Or maybe it's my monitor.

Ye, I know what you mean about the skin colour. It's not your monitor..

This is really great. I love the punched-out fish tank. Wonderfully done.

I love this! I might steal it for an icon one of these chapters (with your permission of course). I think it's totally in character if Garrus got himself so wounded he'd be unable to stay on Shepard's six. Very well done I'm totes impressed!

Shepard:: Here take him
Garrus:: Shepard!
Shepard:: You got to get out of here Garrus!
Garrus:: And you got to be kidding me!
Shepard:: Don't argue with me Garrus.
Garrus:: We're...in this till the end.
Shepard (If romanced): No matter what happens here...you know I love you...I always will...
Garrus:: Shepard I...I love you to...
Shepard:: GO!!!

That scene is really depressing. I was watching it over and over again on Youtube after I finished the E.C. 4 times

I actually think it's really romantic. Final words of goodbye and you also get to finally hear Garrus say those three words to Shepard.

this is about as sad as I have ever been after a game: imagining what happens to your romanctic intrest after Shepard's sacrifice. This is a beutifully sad picture, and I applaud you for making it.

This ...make me sad รงAรง It's exactly how I imagine him after the end.
Considering the DLCs and how in them their relation evolved ,filled with love and fear of loosing the dear one if you want to put that way, I think is totally in character. Garrus must be desperate and angry ,thinking to has lost her again.
This has killed me รงAรง Good job! Really.

First of all he's very well drawn and the proportions are amazing.
Secondly I will now go cry. Seriously this is why I choose destroy in the first place because I couldn't just force life to evolve in a weird way and well you set out to destroy the reapers in the first place so finish it. It seemed like the only logical ending and I couldn't do that to Garrus. He already lost Shepard once I just can't bare to make him loose her again.
Anyways yes very well done and captures sooo much emotion.

ummm... hate to be a troll on the parade but with the hight galactic readiness and your option... you Shepard should be still alive.
Hasn't anyone here heard of the indoctrination theory?!

Yeah my Shep is alive. I'm just saying that's one of the reasons I choose destroy and not the other options. I know of the theory just not the details.

Throughout the entire Trilogy, I don't think Garrus lost his cool even once, even after taking a rocket to the face. This is surprising, since he seems to be the crewmember that is under the most stress. I get the feeling that Garrus DID break down fairly often, only we (Shepard) never saw it. Maybe he spent so much time "calibrating" so that the others wouldn't see him like this. This is perfectly in character, and I wish we could have had a scene like this, if only so that Shepard could give him the support he obviously needs.

Alcarie In reply to AntiDragon4185 [2012-09-12 09:46:28 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, for those exact reasons I was surprised he even said I love you during the evac scene. He always seemed to "cool" over everything and during the romantic moments he looked kinda embarassed, like it was an unknown territory for him. Never really imagined him to have an actual break down, even though I wanted to see something in the lines of that.

mothbanquet [2012-09-10 15:29:28 +0000 UTC]
A poignant scene, I must admit, and I wouldn't call it out of character at all - even Garrus must grieve over the love he's lost. Garrus himself is well-drawn and in proportion and it all exudes a vulnerability that feels very believable.
I must say though that there seems to be quite a lot of wasted space in the image, particularly in the top-right third of the scene. I would suggest, if you're open to it, that you enlarge Garrus himself to reduce some of that needless space - he's the focus, after all.

Alcarie In reply to mothbanquet [2012-09-12 09:50:22 +0000 UTC]
I do have a problem with backgrounds... I use all my energy and focus on the characters and there's usually nothing left for the surroundings. I tend to make them really plain. I know what you mean but I feel that this way, garrus is centered. Had I zoomed differently, it'd either uncentre Garrus or remove some of the broken glass detail and I wanted to keep it.
